Firmware updates help to ensure that your SmarterHome™ device continues to work correctly with the SmarterHome™ app and allow you to access new features that may be added to the SmarterHome™ app following an update.
Your SmarterHome™ device's firmware can be updated directly through the SmarterHome™ app.
To update your firmware through the app:
- Open the SmarterHome™ app and select the device from your home screen.
- Click the 'Edit' button in the upper-right of the screen.
- Scroll down the page and click 'Check for Firmware update'.
- The SmarterHome™ app will advise whether any firmware updates are available for your device. If an update is available, follow the prompts to complete the update.
