Occasionally, food may freeze in your fridge and this will alter the taste and texture of the food, however it will still be edible.
Below is some troubleshooting that should be performed in order to prevent food from freezing in your fridge:
- The fridge temperature has potentially been set too low. Check the thermostat and re-adjust to a setting as outlined in the product’s user manual
- Determine the area of the fridge where it's occurring, whether that may be coming from a crisper tray or side door compartment
- Allow proper ventilation for food by spacing it out. This will allow for extra circulation of cold air and ensure a consistent temperature throughout each area
- Check the condition of the door seals. If they are worn out, the fridge may output more cold air than usual, which could freeze foods. If they are worn out, contact the Customer Care team
