Water Inlet Issues
Make sure the dishwasher is turned on and the door is closed securely. Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into the wall socket.
Confirm that you have running water to the house by testing with the kitchen tap.
Possible Causes | Solution |
Water supply and supply valve | Check the Inlet pipes for leaks or closed valves |
Anti flood mechanism may be on | Ensure there is no water build up in the filter |
Float switch may be stuck | Ensure there is no water build up in the filter or debris in the mechanism |
Spray arms may be blocked |
Remove and clean the arms and descale |

Inlet Issue - E2 error
Kogan Dishwashers are equipped to identify certain issues, the E2 error message displayed on some Kogan dishwashers can be a result of the Inlet hose being connected to a hot water supply.
Kogan Dishwashers must be connected to the cold water inlet supply when connecting the unit as per the product manual and image below. Connecting the unit to the hot water supply will damage the unit over time.
Water Drainage Issues
If the dishwasher has recently been installed please check that the dishwasher is not resting on or against the drainage hose.
Please ensure the dishwasher’s drainage hose has been installed correctly by your plumber.
Fit the drainage hose of your machine to the drainage pipe without bending.
The length of the hose should not exceed 4 meters even when used with an extension.
If the drainage hose is longer than 4m the dishes will not be cleaned properly.
Please also you ensure you check the draining of your sink as the issue may be with your pipes and a plumber may be required.
Check the Filter
Debris from your dishes can build up if you do not regularly clean the inside of your dishwasher, as a result this can affect the draining of your dishwasher. It is recommended that you clean your filter at least once a week.
