A TV's firmware tells the TV how to function.
Having the latest firmware installed ensures that your TV runs as it should. Even if you have the latest firmware, in many cases, reinstalling the firmware will rectify issues with your TV.
To perform a firmware update first, check that your TV's model matches one of the below models exactly. If it does not, search your model in the Kogan.com Help Centre.

- Insert the USB into either USB port on your TV.
- Connect the TV to power and turn it on.
- The TV will automatically update.
- Wait until the TV has updated. Please note, it will completely reset 3-4 times before completing the update and displaying the initial setup page.
