The "FL" or "P1/PI" notification appears when the water compartment of your portable air conditioner is full.
Humidity from the air fills the water compartment over time. The resulting error code is usually accompanied by an audible alarm tone from the unit (depending on your model). The appliance should typically be able to heat or cool a room for 5-6 hours before giving this notification.
If you notice this alert appearing on your product, disconnect the unit from power and drain it completely as soon as possible, making sure to follow the instructions demonstrated in the product's manual. Typically, this is done by removing the plug from the drain port at the rear of the air conditioner - some examples are shown below:
Always be sure to use care when moving an air conditioner with a full water compartment, as the water may overflow from inside if the unit is shaken or knocked.
Once this has been completed, plug the unit back in and resume operation once again. Make sure to never operate the appliance without the drain plug in place, unless you are able to utilise a continuous drainage system with your product.
It should then take 5-6 hours for the unit's water storage to completely refill and for the "FL" or "P1" notification to reappear.
