Troubleshooting
Not charging or charging slowly
- Align the centre of the phone's back with the centre of the charging pad.
- Ensure there are no materials or objects between the wireless charger and the phone.
- Some phone cases or back covers may interfere with wireless charging. Remove any cases or covers and try to charge again.
- If your phone does not natively support wireless charging and you have installed an internal 3rd-party wireless charging accessory, ensure that it is installed correctly and is not creating a bugle on the back cover, as this may interfere with wireless charging.
A charging time of approximately 3 hours is standard, however, this depends on the battery capacity and health of the device, whether the device is switched on or not and whether it is being used and what apps are running, along with environmental factors such as ambient temperature – charging will be slower in hot environments, for example.
Wireless charging pad gets warmer while charging?
It is normal for any charging device, as well as the device being charged, to become warmer while charging due to the transfer of energy. This is not indicative of a fault or malfunction, nor does it indicate the charger or device's performance or lifespan will be affected.
