Overview
Installation
Remove the heater and all accessories from the packing.
1. Place the heater on a flat, dry and clean surface.
- Warning: Do not use the appliance without the castors attached.
2. Turn the heater upside down and attach the castors to the base as shown.
3. Check over the unit before using it for the first time:
- Ensure there are no breakages or cracking on the power cable or plug.
- Ensure that the product’s power rating is compatible with your household power and the power socket has appropriate safety grounding equipment.
App Installation
Download the “Kogan SmarterHome™” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
Register
- Tap to enter registration page.
- The system should automatically recognise your country/area. You can also select your country code manually. Enter your mobile phone number/email address and tap “Next”.
- If you choose the mobile phone number option, enter the verification code that is sent to you by SMS. Set a password as prompted and press “Confirm” to finish your registration.
Add Device Through Network
1. Power the SmarterHome™ device on and press the standby button for 5 seconds to enter Wi-Fi connection mode.
2. Open Kogan SmarterHome™ app and tap “+” in the upper right to add a new device through the network.
3. Ensure the device’s indicator light rapidly flashes and tap “Confirm light is rapidly flashing”.
4. Select Wi-Fi network (note: network must be 2.4GHz band) and enter the password.
5. The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app:
6. After successfully configuring the devices, the device will be shown on the home page. Tap to enter its control page.
Google Home Control
Note: You will need to have set up a Google Home account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome™ device.
- Select “Menu” and then “Home Control”.
- In the “Home Control” screen, select the “+” icon in the bottom right.
- A list will appear showing actions and a search function to access more apps from here, install the SmarterHome™ app.

- Log into your SmarterHome™ account with your email address or mobile number.
- Once linked, it will show the devices linked to your account, you can assign them to rooms. You will be prompted to authorise apps to sync.
- Click “Done” and then it will give you a list of commands available.
- When successfully linked, you will see it on your “Home Control” screen at the bottom of the app screen. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome™ devices through Google Home.

Alexa
Note: You will need to have set up an Alexa account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome™ device.
- Select “Menu” and then “Skills”.
- Search for the app and enable it.
- Log into your SmarterHome™ account with your email address or mobile number.
- Select “Discover Devices” and the app will begin searching.
- When successfully linked, you will see a list of connected Kogan SmarterHome™ devices. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome™ devices through Alexa with your voice

Operation
Plug into the power socket and turn on the main switch.
Indicator Light
Note: The light on this heater turns off after a minute or so, but this does not mean the heater is off, it will continue heating. Please allow 10-15 minutes for it to warm up.

Button Operation
Standby 
(ON/OFF button)
Press the On/OFF button to switch the unit on or off.
Note: This heater has been preset from the factory, though you may change this as you wish.
The heater will then enter heating setting III, the maximum power. The indicator light will illuminate.
Press again to switch the unit off.
Heating setting 
Continually press the heating setting button to cycle through and select from the available heat settings. The light will illuminate to indicate the chosen heat mode:
- Low power
- Middle power
- Maximum power
Press the standby button for 5 seconds to enter Wi-Fi connection mode.
Temperature settings
Temperature settings are controlled by the dial at the centre of the control panel. 12 LED lights around the temperature dial indicate the temperature: blue light for low temperatures, orange light for medium, and red for high temperature.
Timer 
Press the timer button to select your desired working time from the 5 available options:
2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours and 12 hours and timer off.
Delay start function 
The delay start function can be used from standby mode.
- Press the delay start button when the unit is in standby to activate the preset mode, heating setting III.
- If there is no operation within 30 seconds, the indicator lights will dim.
- The indicator light of delay start function will be on during reserve time. When the reserve time is reached, the heat setting and temperature indicators will illuminate. The indicator light of delay start will be off until the reserve time is reached.
- As with the timer above, there are 5 options:
2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours and timer off.
