Safety & Warnings
- Warning: Do not use your device if any cabling is damaged or frayed or if there is any exposed wiring.
- Warning: Do not attempt to or continue to operate your unit if it is wet.
- When using the refrigerator in a vehicle, please make sure the circuit being used is fused. The recommended size for DC 12V is 15A, DC 24V is 7.5A.
- Make sure the voltage is within the correct range for the socket and cable being used. The technical data label on the side of the unit shows the voltage ranges.
- Do not place any electrical devices inside the refrigerator. Doing so may damage them.
Overview
- Your unit requires good ventilation, especially around the back of the refrigerator; allow a gap of at least 10cm around all sides.
- Do not allow a large amount of frost to buildup on the inside walls as this may impair cooling. Defrost by turning the unit off, allowing the frost to melt and wiping out the water.
- The lower the ambient temperature, the lower the power usage. In order to maximise efficiency, keep the unit in a cool location instead of in direct sunlight.
- It is recommended to operate the unit on a flat surface, but it will operate at angles up to 30º.
Operation
Power: Both DC 12V and 24V
Battery protection: Change between Low, Mid and High battery protection by using the switch next to the DC power socket. In the below table you can find the voltages when the compressor stops running (cut-out) and when the compressor restarts (cut-in) for each of the levels.

Battery Protection Pre-Configured Settings
Temperature setting range:-20ºC to 10ºC
- Plugin the DC power cable. The default setting is powered on.
- The LED display on the control panel will turn on and the interior temperature is displayed. The compressor will delay starting for 3 minutes and the Power LED will be green.
- Hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn the unit on or off.
- Press the button
UP (increase) or
DOWN (decrease) to adjust the temperature.
- When you press the “SET” buttons, it switches the display between ºC and ºF
- Press the button “SET” to enter the economy running mode, the ECO indicator green LED light will be on. Press the button again and the unit will enter the maximum running mode (HH); the MAX indicator red LED light will be on.
- The economy mode runs the compressor at a lower speed to save power; the maximum mode runs the compressor at a higher speed increasing power usage. The maximum mode is useful if the ambient temperature is over 30ºC or fast cooling is required.
If the power source is cut off or disconnected, the unit will switch off automatically and once the power is restored it will automatically switch back on with the same setting.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean the appliance inside and out with a clean damp cloth every week. If it is dirty, use sodium bicarbonate dissolved in lukewarm water to clean the unit.
- Never use abrasive products, detergents or soap. After cleaning, wipe out with a clean damp cloth and dry carefully.
- Do not store the product inside the fridge if the fridge is not in operation.
- Please clean the inside and close the lid when it’s not in use.
- Never clean the unit under running water or in a dishwasher.
- Do not use sharp objects during cleaning as these can damage the unit.
Disposal
![]() |
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste. Use separate collection facilities. If electrical appliances are disposed in landfills or dumped, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. |

Troubleshooting
The Unit is Not Turning On
- Check whether the unit has been turned on.
- Check the power supply (try a different power source, i.e. a different vehicle or power socket).
- Check whether the plug and the socket have a good connection.
- Check whether the fuse has been burned out or blown.
Low Refrigeration Performance
- Too much product has been placed inside the unit.
- There is too much warm product inside the unit.
- The lid is unlatched/open.
- The lid seal is broken.
- Problems arising from poor ventilation (ensure at least 10cm of space around all sides).
- The ambient temperature is too high.
- The temperature setting is too high.
Can Hear the Sound of Running Water From Inside the Unit
- This is normal, due to the flow of refrigerant in the unit.
Unusual Noise When Refrigerator is Working
- The refrigerator is not placed on a level surface.
Error Protection Function
When the electronic control module of compressor malfunctions, the LED display will show ER1, ER2, ER3, ER4, ER5 and compressor will stop working. After rectifying the fault, please wait for 3 minutes before starting the operation.
When an NTC (temperature sensor) failure is detected, the LED display shows ER0 and ER9 and after rectifying the fault, the display will show the internal temperature again.
Error Code |
Problems |
Solution |
ER0 |
Temperature sensor short circuit (at this point the compressor enters a regular operating mode, (i.e.,) works for 30 minutes then stops for 30 minutes). |
Contact Kogan.coim to change the temperature sensor line. |
ER1 |
Input under-voltage protection |
1. Change the battery. 2. Lower the battery protection switch. |
ER2 |
DC fan over-current protection |
Contact Kogan.coim to change the fan. |
ER3 |
