Operation
Connecting the device incorrectly will destroy the power inverter as well as the electrical equipment, please follow the following steps and sequence and be sure to follow the instructions accurately.
1. When using in a car, please connect the inverter with the DC power or cigarette lighter port.
- Connect the red side of the cigarette lighter with “+” terminal and fix it, connect the black side with “-” terminal and fix it; do not mix or confuse them or it will destroy the inverter.
- Insert the cigarette lighter to the DC port of the car, turn on the power inverter, the green LED light will turn on.
- Insert the plug of the electric equipment into the AC socket of the inverter.
- Note: When using the power inverter in the car please do not exceed 150W or it will destroy the internal wiring of the car and it will be dangerous.
2. When using outside car or exceeding 200W:
- When using outside a car or exceeding 200W, please use the battery clip cable to connect with the battery.
- The battery clip cables have a red and black cable. Connect the red cable with “+” and fix it into place, connect the black cable with “-” and fix it into place.
- Connect the clip on the red cable with the “+” terminal of the battery and connect the clip on the black with the “-” terminal. Do not reverse or it will destroy the power inverter.
- Turn on the power inverter, the green light will on; insert the plug of the electric equipment into the AC socket of the inverter.
3. Scope of application and related matters:
a) Only use for class II appliances
b) Do not use for the following:
- Any electric appliances that exceed the rated power of the inverter.
- Generally capacitive load and perceptual load appliances including air conditioners, high power electric drills, fridges, microwave ovens and blenders.
- Do not use this inverter with appliances that have strict requirements on the power supply, such as precise equipment, using ordinary power inverters with this kind of equipment will affect the measuring data.
c) Do not use the USB port for the following:
- USB is only for charging, it does not have a data exchange function.
- Before charging, please check carefully if the charging current of the appliance is under the inverter’s current, if it exceeds the charging current of the inverter, please do not use or it may destroy the USB port.
- Some devices must be charged with their original charger, please don’t charge them with the USB port of the inverter, or the device may be damaged.
4. Please use the inverter in a well-ventilated area and make sure the fan is not blocked. Do not place the inverter under rain or in a humid environment, keep it dry. In order to maintain a long lifespan of the inverter, please operate it under 85% of the related power.
5. The inverter has low input voltage protection, input over-voltage protection, overload protection, overheat protection and short circuit protection. If these triggers, the inverter will stop working and if you want it to start again please turn off the unit and turn it on again.
6. To save energy, the fan will not work unless in the following two situations:
- The fan will work when the load exceeds 30% of the related power of the inverter.
- When the inside temperature of the inverter exceeds 60°, the fan will work.
7. Using extension cables:
- Use of extension cables between the inverter and the battery is not recommended, because it will cause loss of DC electricity and affect the performance of the inverter.
- If using an extension cable, it’s suggested that you use a high-quality cable to reduce the loss of electricity.
8. Other matters:
- This is modified sine wave inverter when measuring the voltage, please use precise equipment.
- When supplying power to an audio system, radio or TV, the appliance may experience interference. This is normal and not a cause for concern.
- When using in cars, please stop using the inverter while the engine has stopped.
- Please do not disassemble the inverter. This unit contains no user-serviceable parts.
