Safety & Warnings
- If you are not going to use the rangefinder for a long time, please take the battery out to avoid damage from battery leakage.
- Do not touch the eyepiece directly with your finger to prevent the coating from being damaged.
- Do not disassemble this device. It has been accurately aligned and adjusted with precision equipment.
- If the external lens is stained, please clean it with a lens cloth. Do not use other materials when cleaning to prevent the coating from being damaged.
- When carrying or using this device, be careful not to drop it or put heavy objects on top of it as this can misalign the internal components.
- Keep the device in a dry, cool and airy place and avoid dust, direct sunshine and extreme change of temperature.
- Never point the device at the sun or strong light to prevent the photosensitive elements from being damaged.

Operation
Step 1: Turn on the product
Short press the power button to turn on the product and it will enter distance measuring mode. The LCD will display as shown in the picture below.
Step 2: Adjust the focus
Looking through the eyepiece, rotate the eyepiece clockwise or anticlockwise until the view is clearly in focus. By adjusting the eyepiece, people with far-sighted or short-sighted vision can use this product without wearing glasses.
Step 3: Mode and Unit Selection
Short press the MODE button to switch mode. Long press the MODE button to switch unit.
Step 4: Measuring
Note: In single distance measuring mode, the distance to a discrete point you targeted would be measured and displayed. In continuous distance measuring mode, the distances to a continuous line of points you targeted will be measured and displayed |

Working principle

Note: 'c' equals the speed of light and 't' equals the amount of time for the round trip between the rangefinder and target. 'd' is the distance measured.

How to operate
Single distance measuring: Aim at a target object and short press the power button to start measuring. The measuring result would be displayed on the lens.
Continuous distance measuring: Long press the power button. The distance value will be displayed in real-time according to where you are pointing at. The ‘Scan’ icon will flash on the screen as seen in the picture below:
Pinseeker mode
Working principle
Pinseeker mode is designed for measuring the distance to a flagpole. Using this mode, the product can separate the flagpole (point D) from the clutter (such as trees and bushes) in the background. Only the distance to point D would be displayed.

How to operate
(i) Single distance measuring:
- Aim at the target object and short press the power button.
- The measuring value result will be displayed on the lens. The value is the distance to the target.
(ii) Continuous distance measuring:
- Aim around the flagpole and long-press the power button. The ‘Scan’ icon and the value will flash on the lens. Wait until you get a stable value. This value is the distance to the flagpole. The LCD will display as shown in the picture below:
Fog mode
Working principle
Fog near the rangefinder in a normal mode would reflect the laser back to the device, which causes the device to give a reading on the distance to the fog. Fog mode allows the product to filter out the influence of fog in close range (d1=30m) and thus measure with improved accuracy.

Speed mode
Working principle
Note: The range finder would take two measurements of distance, d1 and d2. To get the average speed of a moving object, divide the distance travelled (d2-d1) by the time taken to travel the distance (t).

How to measure
Aim at the object and short press the power button. Keep aiming as the object moves until the speed value displays on the screen.
Low Battery Alarm
When the battery level is too low, the low battery icon would appear as a reminder to replace the battery. Please note that low battery can negatively influence the accuracy of results.
The measuring range of the rangefinder is dependent on the condition of the target, the projected angle of the laser beam and visibility. The measuring range is larger when the target has a smooth, large and brightly coloured surface, when the angle between the laser and the target is vertical and when the sky is clear.
