Operation
Remote Control
1. Mobile phone rack:
Pull out the remote control lower bracket to clamp the phone.
2. 2.4G frequency:
Turn on the drones power switch and place the drone on flat ground, then the drone indicator light will flash. Turn on the remote controls power source switch, push the throttle joystick to the highest position and then pull it to the lowest. The buzzer will prompt with a “tick” sound, indicating your drone has been calibrated! The drone indicator light is on, and you can take off.
3. One key to start and One key to land:
These features use a barometer. Environmental factors such as temperature and others will affect this. The drone will automatically start One Key landing mode when flying and the button is pressed or if the drone has low voltage. Some height changes are normal.
4. Flight Control
A. Throttle (left lever):
B. Forward and backward (right lever) (with camera front side):
C. Left and right side fly:
D. Turn left and right (with camera front side):
5. Fine-tuning control (with camera front side):
Directional definition and mode selection of headless mode:
Headless Mode sets the front of the drone to be in one direction, regardless of the orientation of the drone. Typically, you will activate headless mode so that the 'front' of the drone is facing away from you. If the drone pivots to the side, for example, the front of the drone will still be considered directly in front of you.
As an example, if the drone turns ninety degrees to the left, the right side of the drone, which is furthest from you, becomes the drones 'front', and when you direct the drone forward it will still move away from you, but in actuality, it is moving to the side.
When Headless Mode is activated, push the right lever to forward to have the drone fly away from you, regardless of its orientation. Pull the right lever to back, the drone will fly towards you.
To activate Headless Mode, first set the drone in front of you, with the camera facing away from you in line with the remote.
Once you are ready, press the Headless Mode button on the top left of the remote.
Once you take off, the flight heading will be set.
When flying in headless mode, the remote control will play a “flute” sound twice to indicate. The drone lights flashes. Press the remote controller button, a “flute” sound prompts and exits Headless Mode.
One Key Return
One Key Return Mode returns the drone by travelling backward from its current position.
Because it travels backward, it is best used in conjunction with Headless Mode, otherwise, it is essential that the drone is orientated away from you before One Key Return is activated.
To activate One Key Return, press the button on the top of the remote.
Please note: Using the right control thumbstick will cease the One Key Return function.
Speed Selection
The drone has three speed settings, to cater to all pilots skill levels.
By default, the drone will be set to the slowest speed.
To change the speed, press the top right button on the remote. It will play a “flute” sound twice to indicate the speed is set to the mid-level.
Press three times to activate the fastest speed. Press again to return to the slow speed setting.
It is highly recommended that beginners operate the drone at a slow speed.
The Remote Controller
The photo/video button, or the mobile phone app, can be used to take pictures or record video. You can view your video on your mobile and also start filming video or tale pictures through the app using Wi-Fi.
Prompt:
Wi-Fi aerial version of the phone can find Wi-Fi connection and remote control to start the video or take pictures.
Drone Reset Settings
- The reset setting is a horizontal reset of the six-axis gyroscope on the drone and the micro-adjustment of the remote control.
- Push the sticks to the bottom right for 2 seconds, as the picture shows. You will hear a flute sound, and the drone will flash quickly a few times to indicate that the reset is successful.
Please note: This function is generally not necessary, and should be used only for drone maintenance adjustment or when drone faces a serious offset.
Emergency landing:
- During flying, if an emergency stop is required, press the button (as the picture shows), the drone will stop working. Please do not attempt this operation while the drone is flying at a high altitude.
- When the drone leans over 45 degrees, it will stop to protect the motors
. - When using the App to control the drone, slide the throttle down and press the one key takeoff button for an emergency landing.
