Before using this product, please read the following safety instructions and follow all routine safety precautions!
- Please read these instructions carefully.
- Please keep this book for future reference.
- Any operation not in compliance with these instructions is likely to cause damage to the product.
Warning
- Only qualified service technicians should disassemble, repair or modify the product. Unauthorized repair may lead to fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not use any charger other than the one accompanying this vacuum. Alternate chargers may cause fire, resulting in product damage, electric shock or high voltage.
- Do not touch any high voltage power cable of the appliance with wet hands, as this may cause electric shock.
- Do not over-bend the power cord or place heavy objects on it. Doing so may damage the cord, causing a fire or electric shock.
- Always be cautious to avoid clothes or any part of the body (head, fingers, etc.) getting caught in the brush or wheels of the vacuum cleaner. Doing so may result in personal injury.
- Keep the vacuum away from cigarettes, lighters, matches and other heat sources. Keep away from flammable materials.
Attention
- Turn off the power before transporting or moving the vacuum into prolonged storage. Otherwise, the battery may be damaged.
- Insert the power cord of the charger tightly or it may cause electric shock, a short circuit, smoke or fire.
- Inspect the connection between the charger and the socket regularly.
- To prolong battery life, charge the vacuum for at least 16 hours before the first use or before reuse after a long idle period. The battery will not achieve its optimum performance until 2-3 complete recharging-discharging cycles.
- Before leaving the vacuum cleaner-idle for extended periods, please recharge the battery to full, then take the battery to a cool place, and keep the bottom of the appliance dry.
- Prior to use, remove all damage-prone objects from the cleaning area (luminous objects, fabrics, glass bottles, etc.). Otherwise, it may cause damage to these objects or affect the performance of the appliance.
- Please use the cleaner with caution in the presence of children to avoid hurting them.
- Do not stand or sit on the vacuum cleaner so as not to cause damage to it or injuries.
- Never let the device vacuum up water or other liquids, this will cause damage to the vacuum.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner in confined spaces (small table, chair) which may lead to product damage.
- Outdoor use is prohibited.
- The vacuum is designed for residential use only.

Assembly Instruction
Installation of the Water Tank
- Fill the tank with water or any desired plastic-safe cleaning solution by removing the plastic stopper, marked with a nozzle symbol located on the top of the tank, and filling until it is full. Reinsert the plastic stopper.
- Completely dry off the water tank before inserting into the robot.
- Certain cleaning solutions may need to be diluted with water before inserting into the water tank. Certain cleaning solutions may stain the mop pad.
- Insert the water tank into the robot securely.
Installation of the Roller Brush and Sweeping Bracket
1. Turn off the power to the robot by flipping the power switch.
2. Gently pick up the robot and lay it with its wheels facing up.
3. Insert the roller brush into the hollow section in between the two side brushes. Do this by placing the square shaft on the brush into the corresponding square hole on the left side of the compartment.
4. Lower the other side of the roller brush by inserting the rubber piece of the roller brush into the semi-circle slot on the right side of the compartment.
5. Taking the sweeping bracket with the rubber extension facing up, insert the two front prongs into the corresponding holes in the same compartment containing the roller brush.
6. Lower the left and right clips located on the sides of the sweeping bracket into their corresponding holes until a click is heard.
Operation
Charging Your Vacuum
- Connect the power adapter to the power adapter jack on the charging dock.
- Locate an electrical outlet on the wall close to the ground and plug in the power adapter.
- Place the charging dock in a flat position on the ground with the back pushed up against a wall. There should be no other objects or obstructions for two meters in front of and one meter to the left, right and above the charging dock. Place the dock out of direct sunlight.
Note
The cord should not be on the ground or obstructing the charging dock as it will result in the robot being unable to find the charging dock.
The charging dock should always be plugged in to ensure charging when needed.
When the robot has finished the planned clean, it will return to the charging dock automatically. It will also return to the charging dock automatically when it has low battery.
When the robot is cleaning or on the standby mode, press the "Return Home" button on the remote controller, the robot will return to the charging dock.
Turn on the power of the robot by flipping the power switch, "-" is turn on, "0" is turn off. When the robot is on, it will emit blue light. When you press the button on the panel, the robot will start working.
Alternatively, to using the charging dock, the robot can also be charged by connecting the power adapter to the DC recharging port on the side of the robot.
Note
Do not charge the robot while the water tank and mop is installed and filled with the solution.
Charging Status
- When the red/blue light on the button is blinking, the robot is charging. The charge level is below 15% when the red light blinks, and the charge is above 15% when the blue light blinks.When the blue light on the panel is solid, the robot is fully charged.
- The robot can also be charged by connecting the power adapter to the DC recharging port on the side of the robot.
Robot Operation
1. To start your robot, turn on the power switch on the side of the robot. The blue light on the button will illuminate. The robot will enter standby mode. Press the button on the panel, the robot will begin the planned clean.
2. If you press the button on the panel whilst the robot is cleaning, the robot will enter into standby mode and wait for the next instruction.
3. To send the robot back to the charging dock manually, press the button on the panel two times.The light will glow red, and the robot will begin to find the charging dock. When it docks, and you see the red/blue light blinking, the robot is charging. When the blue light is solid, the robot is charged.
4. Leave the robot on the charging dock after cleaning has finished, in order to do the next cleaning.
Note:
If the robot is not used for an extended period, please turn off the robot to protect the battery. Please recharge the robot once a month to maintain the battery.
Wi-Fi Mode:
Use your thumb to press and hold the power button, while the index finger presses against the anti-collision strip of the machine. When you hear the voice of "Di", release the button and the blue light on the panel will begin blinking. The robot will enter into Wi-Fi mode.
Note
- If you lift the robot up 10cm or higher when it is cleaning, the planned path will be deleted.
- The remote control directional buttons will have no effect when the robot has entered into planned cleaning mode. The directional buttons can be used when the robot is in standby mode or on the charging dock.

These four direction buttons won't work when cleaning, but they work when navigating to the dock station for charging. |
- Place two AAA batteries to use the remote controller.
- When controlling the cleaner with the remote controller, aim the controller at the sensor head of the cleaner and keep it within 5m from the cleaner.
Using the Kogan Smarterhome App
1) Download the "Kogan Smarter Home" app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
2) After installing the Kogan Smarter Home app, open the app. You will see the below home page:
3) Register a new Smarter home account if you do not have one already. Please note, this account is unique to the Kogan smarter home app. To register:
- Tap to enter the registration page.
- The system automatically recognizes your country/area. You can also select your country code manually. Enter your mobile phone number/email address and tap "Next".
- If you choose the mobile phone number option, then enter the verification code in the message sent to you by SMS. Set a password as prompted and press “Confirm” to finish your registration.
4) Make sure you have the following information:
- Your home Wi-Fi name (SSID) (NOTE: Network supports 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency band only)
- Your home WiFi password.
5) Turn ON the vacuum as following:
- Switch on the power by pressing the switch button provided on the side of the vacuum.
6) Place the robot into pairing mode by long-pressing the Home Button, and press the anti-collision strip of the machine simultaneously.
NOTE: Network supports 2.4GHz Wifi frequency band only.
7) Once the unit is in pairing mode, in the App, select the plus symbol "+" right top corner of the application.
8. Select the appropriate device icon accordingly.
9. The app will enter into "ADD Device" page. Select "Confirm Device is ready to pair" which is at the bottom of the screen in red.
10. A window should appear with the steps to select the WiFi network.
11. Once the screen pops up saying “Device added successfully” confirm it by pressing "DONE" which leads to the Device interface page.

Note
- You will need to have set up a Google Home account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome device.
1. Select "Menu" and then "Home Control”.
2. In the "Home Control" screen, select the + icon in the bottom right.
3. A list will appear showing actions and a search function to access more apps: from here, install the SmarterHome app.
4. Log into your SmarterHome account with your email address or mobile number.
5. Once linked, it will show the devices linked to your account: you can assign them to rooms. You will be prompted to authorize apps to sync.
6. Click "Done" and then it will give you a list of commands available.
7. When successfully linked, you will see it on your "Home Control" screen at the bottom of the app screen. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome devices through Google Home.

Alexa
Note
You will need to have set up an Alexa account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome device.
1. Select "Menu" and then "Skills".
2. Search for the app and enable it.
3. Log into your SmarterHome account with your email address or mobile number.
4. Select "Discover Devices" and the app will begin searching.
5. When successfully linked, you will see a list of connected Kogan SmarterHome devices. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome devices through Alexa with your voice.

Cleaning & Care
Removal and Cleaning of the Dustbin
- Press the dustbin button on the panel to take out the dustbin.
- Open the upper cover of the dustbin and pour out the dirt and debris.
Removal and Cleaning of the Water Tank
- Press the water tank button on the panel, to take out the water tank.
- Open the flexible plastic inlet, inject clean water and clean the water tank.
Removal and Cleaning of the Roller Brush
- Press the clip at each end of the sweeping bracket simultaneously with both index fingers to remove the sweeping bracket.
- Pull up on the left end of the roller brush to remove it.
- Clean the hair off the brush or wash it with water (do not reinsert it until it is completely dry after washing).
Removal and Cleaning of the Side Brush
- Gently pick up the robot and lay it with its wheels facing up.
- Carefully clean the hair off of the brush.
- Firmly grasp one of the plastic spokes containing the wire brushes and pull straight up.
- The side brush should only be replaced if the previous side brushes become damaged.
