Many TV brands support frame interpolation, which is a technique which inserts frames into the footage to create a smoother, more fluid picture.
Depending on the manufacturer, you may find that frame interpolation, or similar technology, is named differently:
- Motion Interpolation
- Motion Smoothing
- TruMotion - LG
- Motionflow - Sony
- Auto Motion Plus - Samsung
- Soap Opera Effect
This functionality is not currently available on Kogan TVs. For the smooth, high-quality playback, use source material that aligns with your TV's capabilities.
For example, if you have a Kogan 55" 4K HDR LED TV (Series 8 JU8100), its maximum display specifications are 3840 x 2160px@60hz, so using playing an Ultra HD Blu-ray, specifically recorded at 60 Frames Per Second, would provide the highest quality playback.
