Installation
Step 1:
- Take the bike mainframe out from the carton.
- Attach the front base (14) to the main frame (12) using carriage bolt (15), washer (8/27) and domed nut (13). Tighten it with the wrench.
- Attach the rear base (18) to the mainframe using carriage bolt (15), washer (8/27) and domed nut (13). Tighten it with the wrench.
Step 2:
- Insert the saddle post (21) into the main frame (12) and fasten it with the adjustment knob (11).
- Attach the saddle slider (24) to the saddle post (21) and fasten it using a washer (23) and adjustment knob #2 (22). Tighten the saddle with the wrench.
Step 3:
- Insert the handle post (9) into the main frame (12). Tighten it with the adjustment knob (11).
- Attach the handlebar (6) to the handle post (9) using an Allen key bolt (7) and washer (26).
Tighten it with the Allen key wrench (28).
Step 4:
- Attach the computer holder (3) to the handlebar using a screw (4).
- Slide the computer (1) onto the computer holder (3), then connect the Computer Plug correspondingly.
Step 5:
- Remove the nut (17) from the right pedal (16). Attach the right pedal (16) to the main frame (12), turning the pedal clockwise. Lock the removed nut (17) back into place by using the 17/19 wrench. Completely tighten it with a wrench.
- Remove the nut (19) on the left pedal (20). Attach the left pedal (20) to the main frame (12), turning the pedal anti-clockwise.
- Lock the removed nut (19) back into place by using the 17/19 wrench. Completely tighten it with a wrench
Note: The right pedal should be threaded on clockwise and the left pedal anti-clockwise.
Operation
Use:
The seat height can be adjusted by removing the adjustment knob and raising or lowering the seat.
There are 7 holes in the seat post allowing for a range of height adjustments. Once the correct height has been chosen, refit the adjustment knob and tighten it.
The tension control knob allows you to alter the resistance of the pedals. A high resistance makes it more difficult to pedal and a low resistance makes it easier.
For the best results set the tension while the bike is in use.
Computer Screen:
General:
This console has a non-backlit LCD, which displays speed, RPM, calories, distance, time and pulse. As it is non-backlit, please ensure you are using the unit in a well-lit area to be able to view the screen well.
Power On / Off:
The display will be active to show all data once you begin pedalling. Once pedalling stops, the LCD will remain blinking and will display the latest data before stopping. The display will switch off if pedalling has stopped for over 45 seconds.
Display data:
- Speed:
Starts from 0. At the top of the LCD display, you can view the current speed with a pointer. - Time:
Starts from 0. Shows the total time of the current session. Range: 00:00-99:59 - RPM:
Rotation per Minute. Range: 0-140. If your RPM exceeds 140, the LCD will show STOP for safety reasons. - Distance:
Starts from 0. Range: 000.0-999.9km; Increments: 0.1km. Shows total distance travelled in the current session. - Calories:
Starts from 0. Shows calorie consumption during this session. Range: 000.0-999.9 - Pulse:
The user’s current heart rate will be displayed in beats per minute. Place the palms of your hands on both contact pads and wait for 30 seconds for the most accurate reading. - Replace the battery:
Place the computer on a surface with the backside facing up.
Remove the battery cover from the unit. Remove any old or drained batteries and replace with new batteries.
Please note, both batteries should have a positive end facing downward. Put the new batteries in and replace the back cover.
