Important Safety Tips
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons or property. Read all instructions before using any appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Do not operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced Kogan.com or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. This ice-maker must be positioned in such a way that the plug is accessible. Connect to properly polarised outlets only.
- No other appliance should be plugged into the same power outlet. Be sure that the plug is fully inserted into the outlet.
- Do not run the power cord over carpeting or other heat insulators. Do not cover the cord. Keep cord away from high traffic areas and do not submerge in water.
- Do not use an extension cord, as it may overheat and become a risk of fire.
- Unplug the ice maker before cleaning or servicing.
- Exercise caution and use reasonable supervision when the appliance is used near children.
- Do not use your ice maker outdoors.
- Place the ice maker away from direct sunlight and make sure that there is at least 10cm of space between the back of your unit and wall. Keep a minimum distance of 10cm on each side of your unit free.
- Only use water for the ice cubes. Do not use other liquids.
- Do not clean your ice maker with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
- Do not tip the appliance over.
- If the ice maker is brought in from outside in the wintertime, give it a few hours to warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.
- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans in this appliance.

2. ‘No water’ indicator: When this is flashing this means there no water in the unit. You need to pour water in.
3. ‘Ice-full’ indicator: When this is on, this means the ice basket is full of ice cubes.
4. ON/OFF indicator: If the unit has been turned off, this symbol will flash and if the unit is turned on, this symbol will be solid light.
5. Clean symbol: When this symbol flashes, the unit needs to be cleaned.
6. Ice cube size indicator: Small, Medium and Large.
7. Timer delay display.
B. ON/OFF button: To start or stop the unit.
C. SELECT button: To select your desired size of ice cube:
• Small, medium and large sizes can be selected, or this button can be used to change the time digit during the clock or timer setting program.
D. CLOCK button: To set the time display to the correct current time.
E. TIMER button: To set or cancel the timer program to let the unit start to run at your desired time or stop the unit at your desired time.
Operation
Using Your Ice Maker
Starting to Make Ice Cubes
- Open the cover, remove the ice basket and pour water into the water reservoir. Keep the water level below the "MAX" line marked inside the reservoir. Press the “ON/OFF” button on the control panel to turn on the unit to begin the ice making cycle.
- Select the size of the ice cube by pressing the “Select” button. The are three sizes to select from: Small, Medium or Large.
If the room temperature is lower than 15°C, it is recommended to select the small or medium ice size in order to avoid ice sticking together. - The ice making cycle lasts 6 to 13 minutes, depending on the size of the ice cubes and the ambient temperature. In the hot temperatures, ice-making time may vary greatly.
- While the icemaker is on, check the water level periodically. If the water pump can’t inject water, the ice maker will stop automatically and the “
” symbol will flash on the display window. Fill water up to the level mark and press the “ON/OFF” button two times again to turn on the unit again. Allow the refrigerant liquid inside the compressor to settle for at least 3 minutes before restarting.
- The ice maker automatically stops working when the ice basket is full and the “
” symbol will display on the display window.
- Change the water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to ensure reasonable hygiene. If the unit isn’t in use, drain all water from the tank.
Timer Setting
- Timer delay range: 0.5-19.5 hours.
- Default delay time: 3 hours.
- When the unit is running, you can set the unit with OFF-TIMER to tell the unit to stop running after your set delay time.
- When the unit is stopped, you can set the unit with ON-TIMER to let the unit start to run automatically after your set delay time.
How to Set the Timer
Press the TIMER button first and the default “3.0H” delay time will flash on the display window. Press the SELECT button to select your desired delay time.
Press the SELECT button one time and the flashing delay time will increase by 0.5 hours.
If you hold down the SELECT button for more than 3 seconds, the delay time will change very quickly.
After 5 seconds of flashing, the delay time will change from flashing to always displaying. This means the timer program has been set.
How to Cancel the Timer
When the unit has been set with the timer or during the timer setting process, press the TIMER button. The delay time will disappear, meaning the timer setting has been cancelled.
Clock Display and the Correct Time
This unit has a CLOCK display function. If the displayed time is not correct, you can adjust it to the correct time through the CLOCK and SELECT buttons.
First press the CLOCK button once and the hours will start to flash. You can press the SELECT button to change it, each press will increase 1 hour.
Press the CLOCK button again and the minutes will start to flash. Then press the SELECT button to change it.
Once the correct time is selected, press the CLOCK button for the third time to confirm it.
During adjustment, after 5 seconds of flashing, the number will automatically change to always displaying, meaning the new clock has been set.
Cleaning Reminder
When the symbol flashes, the unit needs to be cleaned. If you have cleaned the unit, always press the TIMER button for more than 5 seconds, this symbol will then disappear from the display window. The cleaning timer will reset to zero and begin counting again.
Installation
Connecting Your Ice Maker
Danger
Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged, please contact our Support Team.
- This unit should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a grounding plug for wall outlets to minimise the possibility of electric shock.
- Plug your appliance into an exclusive (not shared), properly installed, grounding wall outlet. Do not, under any circumstances, damage the grounding means of the plug. Any questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician.
- This appliance requires a standard 220-240 Volt, 50Hz electrical outlet with grounding means.
Unpacking Your Ice Maker
- Remove the exterior and interior packaging. Check that the ice basket and ice shovel are included. If any parts are missing, please contact our Support Team.
- Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Take out the ice basket and clean it.
- Find a location for your ice maker that is protected from direct sunlight and other sources of heat (i.e. stove, furnace and radiator). Place the ice maker on a level surface. Make sure that there is at least 10cm of space between the back and sides of your ice maker and the wall.
- Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging ice maker in.
- The appliance must be positioned in such a way that the plug is accessible.

Before using your ice maker, it is strongly recommended to clean it thoroughly.

Maintenance & Care
Cleaning and Maintaining Your Ice Maker
- Take out the ice basket.
- Clean the interior with diluted detergent, warm water and a soft cloth.
- Then use the water to rinse the inside parts and drain out the water by unplugging the drain cap on the side.
- The outside of the ice maker should be cleaned regularly with a mild detergent solution and warm water.
- Dry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth.
- When the machine is not in use for a long time, open water drainage cap to drain the water completely from the water reservoir.
Note: Gas inside the unit is flammable; disposal of these materials shall be in accordance with national regulations.
Disposal
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly.
