Power supply cords should be routed safely to prevent dangers due to damaged cords. The mains plug is the main disconnect method, so it should be easily accessible and not be obstructed during use. |

Installation

Ventilation should not be impeded or limited by covering the ventilation slots with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains etc. At least 10cm of space should be left around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. |

The television should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves or other products that produce heat. Place the television in a position where the screen is not exposed to direct sunlight. It is best to have soft indirect lighting while watching and you should avoid a completely dark viewing environment and reflections to avoid eye fatigue. Keep the product away from high magnetic fields (such as near an amplifier speaker) to avoid affecting the tint. |

Do not place the television on an unstable table, stand or shelf. The set may fall, causing serious injury as well as damage to the television itself. If moving the television on a cart, move the unit with care as sudden stops and starts may cause the television to overturn. |

Do not place this television near water, for example near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a damp basement etc. |

First Time Set up
If this is the first time you are turning on the TV and there are no channels tuned, the installation guide menu will appear on the screen.
- Press the "
/▼/◄/►" button to select the OSD (On-Screen Display) language.
- Press the "
/▼/◄/►" button to select energy mode.
- Press the "
/▼/◄/►" button to select your country.
- Press the "
/▼/◄/►" button to select the tuner type.
- Press the "
/▼/◄/►" button to select mode: DTV+ATV, DTV & ATV. Note: ATV has been turned off in Australia so only DTV will bring results.
- Press the "
/▼/◄/►" button to select LCN (Logical Channel Number) "ON" or "OFF".
Note: Searching for platform will take a long time, please be patient!
Channel Menu
You can tune for channels, set favourite channels and edit channels from this menu.
Press the MENU button to display the main menu.
Press the ◄ / ► button to select CHANNEL in the main menu
Press the /▼ button and then press the ► button to choose Antenna or Cable.
1. Auto Scan
This will allow you to search for channels to tune your TV to.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Auto Scan"
- Press "
/▼" button to select the try and press the "
/▼" button to select mode.
Note: ATV has been turned off in Australia so only DTV will bring results.
Press "/▼" button and then press "►" button to start scanning. Press "MENU" or "EXIT" button to stop.
Note: Searching for channels may take longer than expected. Do not be alarmed if this takes a while to complete.
2. Analog Manual Scan
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Manual scan" and press the "►" button to start the scan.
- Press "MENU" button to return the previous menu.
- Press "EXIT" button to exit the menu.
Note: Analog TV (ATV) has been turned off in Australia so this scan will not bring results.
3. Digital Manual Turning
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Digital Manual Scan" and press the "►" button to start the scan.
- Press the "MENU" button to return the previous menu.
- Press the "EXIT" button to exit the menu.
4. Channel Edit
Press the "/▼" button to select "Channel Edit" and press the ENTER button to enter.
a. DELETE
Press the "/▼" button to highlight the program and press the RED button once to delete the program.
b. SKIP
Press "/▼" button to highlight the channel you want to skip and press the "GREEN" button to skip. Press the "GREEN" button again to cancel the setting.
This means that the channel will be skipped over when channel surfing.
c. MOVE
Press "/▼" button to highlight the channel and press the "BLUE" button to move. Then press the "
/▼" button to select where you want to move it to. Press the "BLUE" button again to confirm.
5. Signal Information (only used in DTV)
Press "/▼" button to select "Signal information" and press the "ENTER" button to view. Press the "MENU" button to return the previous menu. Press the "EXIT" button to exit the menu.
Picture Menu
You can select the type of picture, or adjust the picture settings to best suit your preferences.
Press the "MENU" button to enter the OSD menu.
Press the "◄/►" buttons to select the "PICTURE" menu.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Picture Mode" and press the "◄/►" button to change the picture mode.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Brightness" and press the button to enter brightness
adjustment menu to adjust brightness. - Press the "
/▼" button to select "Contrast" and press the "◄/►" button to enter the contrast adjustment menu to adjust contrast.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Sharpness" and press the "◄ /►" button to enter sharpness adjustment menu to adjust sharpness.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Saturation" and press the "◄/►" button to enter Saturation adjustment menu to adjust saturation.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Hue’’ and press the "◄/►" button to enter hue adjustment menu to adjust hue.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Color Temp" and press the "◄/►" button to select mode: Standard, Cool, Warm.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Aspect Ratio" and press the "◄/►" button to select.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "PC Setup" and press the "ENTER" button to enter sub-menu. Note: The 'PC Setup' item is used in PC mode only.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Screen Mode" and press the "◄/►" button to select. Note: The 'Screen Mode' item is used in HDMI mode only.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Advanced Settings" and press the "►" button to enter the Advanced Settings adjustment menu to adjust.
Sound Menu
You can select the type of sound, and adjust sound settings to best suit your preferences.
Press the "MENU" button to enter the OSD menu.
Then press "◄/►" button to select the "SOUND" menu.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Sound Mode" and press the "◄/►" button to select mode.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Treble" and press the button to adjust.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Bass" and press the "◄/►" button to adjust.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Balance" and press the "◄/►" button to adjust.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Surround sound" and "◄/►" button to select "ON" or "OFF".
- Press "
/▼" button to select "EQ Setting" and "◄/►" button to enter the EQ (Equalizer) Setting adjustment menu to adjust EQ.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "AVL" (Automatic Volume Leveler) and press the "◄/►" button to select "On" or "Off".
- Press "
/▼" button to select "SPDIF" and press the "◄/►" button to select .
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Audio Description" and press the "►" button to enter sub-menu to select.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Sound Type" and press the "◄/►" button to select.
Lock System Menu
Press the MENU button to enter the OSD menu.
Then press ◄/► button to select the "Lock System" menu. The default password is "0000".
Note: The administrator password is "8899".
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Enable" and then press the "◄/►" button to select "On" or "Off".
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "channel locks" and press the "►" button to select channel(s) to lock.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Parental Rating" and press the "◄/►" button to set.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Lock Keypad", then press button to select "On" or "Off". The keyboard will be invalid if you set Lock Keypad to "On".
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Hotel Mode" and press the "►" button to enter the sub-menu to set.
- Press the "▼/▲" button to select "New Password" and set your new password.
- Press the "▼/▲" button to select "Clear Lock" and then press the "►" button to clear.
Setup Menu
Press the MENU button to enter the OSD menu.
Then press ◄/► button to select the SETUP menu.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "OSD Language" and press the "◄/►" button to select the OSD language.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Audio Language" and press the "►" button to enter the Audio language adjustment menu to select the Audio language. Note: this will not automatically translate programmes.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Subtitle" and press the "►" button to select "On" or "Off". Note: This function is only used for DTV.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Teletext" menu and press the "►" button to enter sub-menu.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Blue Screen" and press the "◄/►" button to select "On" or "Off".
- Press the "
/▼"button to select "Mode Setting" and press the "◄/►" button to adjust.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "Time Setting" and press the "◄/►" button to adjust.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "HDMI CEC Control" and press the "◄/►" button to adjust.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "PVR Settings" and press the "◄/►" button to enter settings and adjust.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "First Time Installation", then press "ENTER" button to view the same options as during first time set up.
- Press "
/▼" button to select "Reset", then press "ENTER" a dialogue. Press "◄" button selecting "Yes" to restore all setting to default setting.
PC Menu
Press the "MENU" button to enter the OSD menu.
Press "◄/►" button to select the "PC Setting" menu. (Only available in PC mode).

/▼" button to select "Auto Adjust" menu and press the "►" button to automatically adjust the screen.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "H Position" (Horizontal) and press the "◄/►" button to adjust.

/▼" button to select "Phase" and press the "◄/►" button to adjust.

DTV Features
Favourite List
When the source is selected as DTV, users can enter the Favourite List by pressing the "FAV" button.
You can press the "◄/►" button to select the favourite list number.
Program Information
When the source is selected as DTV, you can press the "display" button to display the channel’s information. The program information window is shown as below:
Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
Electronic Program Guide (EPG) provides program information which is broadcasted now or in the future.
You can display the EPG window by pressing the "EPG" button.
DATE and TIME information is displayed along the top of the window.
The left side shows all channels. The right side shows the program on the channel. The selected program is also displayed on the top of this list.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select the "program". Press the "RED" button to enter record mode. Press the "GREEN" button to display program details. Press the "YELLOW" button to Check details of the PVR's Schedule List. Press the "Blue" button to enter reminder settings.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select "CH" and press the "◄/►" button to view the future programs for that channel.
Note: The USB disk will be formatted when used for PVR, please do not store important files in the USB disk, otherwise they will be deleted.
USB Media Playback
Press the "SOURCE" button to change to the "MEDIA" input.
Photo
- Press the "◄/►" button to select the "PHOTO" option and press the "ENTER" button to enter.
- Press "◄/►" button to select the disk drive you want to view, then press "ENTER" to enter.
- Press "BLUE" button to enter the submenu to set.
- Press the "EXIT" button to back to the previous menu.
Music
- Press the "◄/►" button to select MUSIC in the main menu, then press the "ENTER" button to enter.
- Press the "◄/►" button to select the disk drive you want to view/play, then press the "ENTER" button to enter.
- Press the "BLUE" button to enter the submenu to set.
- Press the "EXIT" button to back to the previous menu.
Movie
- Press the "◄/►" button to select MOVIE in the main menu, then press the "ENTER" button to enter.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select the disk drive you want to watch, then press the "ENTER" button to enter.
- Press the "BLUE" button to enter the submenu to set.
- Press the "EXIT" button to back to the previous menu.
Text
- Press the "◄/►" button to select TEXT in the main menu, then press the "ENTER" button to enter.
- Press the "
/▼" button to select drive disk you want to watch, then press the "ENTER" button to enter.
- Press the "BLUE" button to enter the sub menu to set.
- Press the "EXIT" button to back to the previous menu.
PVR Operation
To use the inbuilt PVR, you will require a USB drive. Plug this into the USB port on your TV. Make sure there are no important files on the USB.
In DTV source, press the "MENU" button to enter the OSD menu.
Press the "◄/►" button to select the Setup menu.
1. Press "/▼" button to select "PVR Settings" and press the "ENTER" or "►" button to enter.
2. Press "◄/►" button to select "File Manager" and press the "ENTER" button to check PVR file system.
3. Press "◄/►" button to select "Device List" and press the "ENTER" button to the sub menu.
4. Press "/▼" button to select "Scheduled Record" and press the "ENTER" button to set.
Note:
- The USB disk will be formatted when used for PVR, please do not store important files on the USB disk.
- Press the "•" button for the first time to start recording. The second time, the sign of recorder will be slimmed down, but it will still be recording.
