Safety & Warnings
This manual uses the following symbols to help differentiate between different kinds of information. The safety symbol is used with a keyword to alert you to potential hazards in operating and owning power tool. Follow all safety messages to avoid or reduce the risk of serious injury and death.
DANGER: Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
- Caution: Used without the safety alert symbol indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death.
Safety Rules
Danger:
Always pay attention to the Jockey. If the Jockey abnormally warps, stop working immediately.
Caution:
Apply blocks to the wheels of the vehicle when on an inclination.
Warning:
The Motorized Jockey can adjust its height for easy mounting, but don’t lift for moving.
Do not push or pull a vehicle on a gradient over 5°.
When you push or pull a vehicle on a gradient, make sure the jockey is in a lower position.
DANGER: Please observe your surroundings when you are working with your jockey.
DANGER: Do not exceed rated capacity.
WARNING: Disassemble the jockey and vehicle when not in use.
WARNING: Disconnect the jockey leads and battery when not in use.
WARNING: Battery leads are replaceable but new leads must be less than 3m in length and over 6mm in section.
WARNING: Stop working when the jockey is on a slippery surface.
CAUTION: Don't use the jockey for long distance moves.
CAUTION: Don't submerge jockey and/or leave it on.
Overview
1. Motor & Gear system: DC motor provides power to the gear mechanism and reduction gears convert motor power into moving force.
2. Control box: Include the electric components and protect the motor from overheat damage.
3. Clamp: It is the same as a normal jockey wheel clamp to fix jockey to a vehicle chassis.
4. Lift Handle: Adjust the height of the jockey.
5. Locking & Cover: The locking pin and cover prevent your jockey from theft.
6. Control Handle: It allows operator turning the handle to move from right or left.

Installation
Step1: Connect upper handle and under handle using lock bolt M8.
Step2: Attach the handle assembly to the mainframe using lock bolt M14.
Step3: Insert the latch pressure plate into the latch fixed plate, then attach the latch fixed plate to the towing bracket of car using hex bolt M12x120, flat washer Ø12 and nylon lock nut M12.
Step4: Compress the latch pressure plate using lock pin and lock.
Step5: Insert one head of power cord into the socket of jack; connect the other head of power cord to the battery. Note the battery is negative.
Step6: Button the red power switch processing circuit and be aware of the tyre route.
Operation
General tips for safe operation
1. Jockey is rated at a 2270kg pulling weight and 272kg jockey wheel load. Overloads can damage the Jockey, motor, tyre, etc.
2. Check if the handle positioning key is totally screwed into jockey before you start operating.
3. Check if battery leads are correctly connected to battery terminals.
4. Don't use leads that are being shattered, squashed or damaged.
5. Avoid using the machine during a rainy day or under the condition of open-air.
Operation guide
1. Take time to access your situation and plan your movement.
2. Clamp your jockey with vehicle chassis. Locking pin and cover is recommended for every single-time usage.
3. Fix the handle and connect handle leads to a control box and connect the battery leads to a battery terminal.
4. The button means forward and
means backward.
Maintenance
All moving parts within the jockey have been lubricated using high-temperature lithium grease at the factory.
No internal lubrication is required.
If the jockey is being used in high moisture circumstance for a long time and internal lubrication is necessary, please find a professional technician for maintenance.
