Installation
Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the various elements.
- Take the ceramic filter and multi-layer cartridge and place them in a clean bucket of water. Allow to soak for at least 30 minutes, then rinse them both thoroughly.
- Wash the lower tank thoroughly.
- Place the joining ring onto the top of the lower tank.
- Take the multi-layer cartridge and screw it into the seating/holder, taking care not to overtighten it.
- Place the assembled cartridge onto the joining correctly.
- Take the upper tank and insert the plastic filter. The washer must be on the inside. Do not overtighten.
- Place the top tank on to the joining ring.
- Place the floating valve onto the bottom of the lower tank.
- Remove the smart seat of the dispenser and place the unit onto the dispenser.
- Check all parts for secure fit and alignment.
- Fill the tank with water, then place the top cover in place.

Please note: do not add water to the unit when the bottom tank is full, this will cause leaks.
Also note: The valve seal on the joining ring is located on the lower tank. Ensure that it is secure before filling with water or leakage may occur.
Operation
1. Insert the bottle vertically on the seat, then press the water faucets until water flows out of the red hot water faucet.
2. Insert the power plug into the wall socket, then turn the electric switches to the ON position to start the appliance. DO NOT move both switches at the same time.
3. The heating and cooling indicator lights should light up.
This device is designed to provide hot or cold water whenever you require it. It will automatically turn off when the water reaches the desired temperature, then it will turn on again when the water is outside of this temperature.
Attention
- Make sure you have checked that water will pour from the hot water faucet before plugging in the unit and turning it on. If the dispenser is turned on with an empty water tank, it will damage the unit.
- When moving the unit, do not tilt the unit more than 45° to avoid damaging the compressor.
- Always install the dispenser indoors, on a flat surface, at a distance of no less than 15cm from the wall behind it.
- Keep the appliance away from high temperatures, in a dry, well-ventilated place. Never install the unit in the open air, where it may be rained on or in direct sunlight.
- Children should never use hot water faucet due to the risk of burns.
- If the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of time, unplug the unit and drain all water from the interior.
- Before first use and after a long period of non-use, the water tank and water pipes should be cleaned. The first tank of heated water must be discarded (switch the heating system to OFF while draining the tank).
- Wash the system once every 3-6 months.
- Do not put the plug to cut the power from the unit. The unit must not be turned OFF not ON by simply connecting or disconnecting the power source.
- Do not clean the outside of the unit with water to avoid electric shock. Clean it with a soft cloth.
- If you are not using the unit for a long period of time, even during the night, you can
turn it OFF to save energy. - Do not attempt to change the power cord yourself in the event of damage. Contact the
Kogan.com customer support team. - The equipment must be installed in a location where you have easy access to the
electrical plug. - Keep the ventilation openings at the back of the unit uncovered and unobstructed.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- The environmental temperature for this appliance should be between 18°C and 38°C.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, or persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. - Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant
near this appliance. - This appliance is designed to be used in household and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas in shops and offices, farmhouses, hotels, motels and other residential environments, catering and other similar non-retail applications.

Filter Maintenance
1. Remove the top lid
2. Remove the top filter cover
3. Wash or replace the filter cloth
The filter element itself can be unscrewed counterclockwise.
- Black activated carbon powder will float in the water when the filter is first used. Clean the water filter and let this black water flow out before putting the filter onto the dispenser.
- The water purifier must be located out of direct sunlight.
- Water being fed through the filter should be clean tap water. Do not put grey water or other dirty water through the filter as this will greatly reduce the lifespan of the filter.
- If you find that the speed of filtration after 200-300 litres is still slow, please take out the top layer of the filter element and was it under a fast-flowing tap.
- Please change the filter after one year's use, or after 3000 litres of water filtration.
Troubleshooting
In the event of a malfunction, turn off the water dispenser and disconnect it from the electrical power source.
