Safety & Warnings
Read all directions and warnings before using. Failure to comply with safety instructions may cause electrocution, fire and severe damage. Ensure all safety warnings and indicators are followed.
- Ask others to keep a safe distance when the machine is running. Users who have distractions may be dangerous.
- In order to ensure the charger can concatenate a correct power, battery packs need to be charged. The battery packs need to be charged every 3‐months while in storage to ensure the battery does not become unusable.
- The user should wear protective equipment, such as a dust mask, anti-skid shoes, helmet, work clothes, earplugs. The above equipment can help reduce personal injury in some environments.
- This tool is not designed for the people who can't control their body or senses, have a mental disorder, children or inexperienced.
- The tools shouldn’t be used in the environment that is inflammable or explosive. The tools can make some sparks which can ignite dust and smog, then can cause explosion or fire.
- These tools have a chassis unit switch, it should be used correctly. It shouldn't be used if this switch is damaged.
- If the unit is damaged or has faults, it should only be repaired or replaced by a qualified serviceman.
- Keep the tools away from the body while in use. Make sure that the grass trimmer, pruning shears and chain saw keep clear of anything.
- It is needed to keep balance and stability when the tools are working. Please use a linked switch with the unit that will stop the tools if you lose balance.
Special safety requirements
- Before you can use those tools, you must ensure you are acquainted with the instructions.
- Before working you should check the tools to ensure there is no damage.
- The user should wear protective equipment.
- If the tools make an abnormal noise, please cut the power, then check the tools and solve the problem.
- It should be noted that branches could hit the tools or the user when cutting shrubs and saplings.
- The tools need lubrication, but the oil can make handle drop.
- Battery pack must use the special charger. When the battery pack has fully charged, you should pull out the battery and cut off the power. The tools need to charge when it is stored at lower than ‐60℃ or have been in storage for 3 months.
- The oil cup must have enough oil.
- The chain needs to be tensioned before working, the chain can't leave 6mm or more length when pulling the chain in the middle of the fence plate. Pay close attention to the chain when cutting the bole, the chain can be clamped when the bole falls by gravity.

Operation
Chain saw
Install chain saw: Please wear rubber gloves
Replace the chain and the fence plate
- Put your tools on a flat surface.
- Unscrew the chain lock knob(8) and remove the side cover.
- According to the PIC 12, insert the bolt into the long hole in the fence plate.
- Before starting the chain saw, Guard plate(11) must be installed in the correct position. If the chain break is locked, the unit cannot start.
- Unscrew the oil cup cap(10), use a funnel to add lubricating oil into oil cup(9). Then screw up the cup cap, in case of dust and foreign matter.
Note: Enough oil can ensure lubrication when the tools are working and make less friction of the chain and the fence plate, so you should usually check the oil mass; oil can also afford by oil pump.
Normal operation
Before starting the chain saw, examine the following items:
- Make sure brake is off.
- The chain can't touch anything.
- Insert Battery Pack(4).
- Put your left hand on the front handle(12). Thumb and finger should cover the front handle.
- Put your right hand on the rear handle(2). Thumb and finger should cover the rear handle.
- Press the cutout(3) with your thumb and press the switch(1) with your index finger. Then the chainsaw will work.
- When the tool is starting, push the Guard plate (11) with your left hand, then the chain and electric machine will stop.
Warning: If the Guard plate is locked, but the chain and electric machine is still working, you should contact Kogan.com.
Grass trimmer
Install shield (19)
Warning: To avoid accidents, please install rear handle(2) and shield(19) correctly, and no battery before assembling.
Warning: When the shield has been damaged, the tools can't work until it has been replaced.
Before installing the shield(19), you should get the shield(19) and two screws(31) out from toolkit. Installation method is in PIC21.
Replace nylon wire
Just press the barb on the side of the coil if you want to remove the nylon wire, then the nylon wire will pop up automatically. Replace with a new nylon wire; please make sure nylon wire have 80mm in the side which has a correct direction with shield and arrows on the boxes. First, put the nylon on the compressed spring, second barb aim at groove on the nylon wire. Finally, install the cap.
Replace Battery Pack
Grasp the tools and battery pack(4) and press the Battery Pack lock (3) with your thumb, then pull out the battery pack. Aim the Battery Pack bulge at the tools' groove, until a sound is heard. If you can't hear the sound, the battery isn't installed in place. If the battery isn’t correctly installed, the battery packs will have a chance to drop from the tools and can cause injury.
Install handle
Fix the tools on, aim the handle's beading at the tools' groove, and push it gently until it gets to the fixed position. Then the main handle knob(13) will lock on.
Uninstall handle: Fix the tools on, follow the sequence of arrows, push the main handle knob(13) gently, then separate handle from tools.
Install extension rod
The method is similar to installing the handle. If you want to increase the length of the extension rod, you should unscrew the expansion link nut(22), then pull out the extension rod(23) until it is a suitable size. Finally, screw the expansion link nut(22).
The aiguillette(25) can help users to decrease the consumption of physical strength. If want to change the angle between tools and extension rod, you should press the swivel head button(20), then rotate the tools to a suitable angle. Finally, loosen the swivel head button (20).
If you want to change the angle between main handle and extension rod, you should press the swivel head button(20), then rotate the rotation handle button(21) to a suitable angle.
If you want to change angle and position of vice‐handle, you should unscrew the knob under the vice‐handle (24), then pull out the extension rod to a suitable position, then screw the knob. Rotate the rotation vice‐handle (24) to a suitable angle. Finally, screw the knob.
Pruning shears
Wear rubber gloves while working.
Daub appropriate oil and grease between the fixed blades and kinematic blades, then check the blade and install battery pack.
Put your left hand on the linked switch handle(16), put your right hand on the rear handle(2).
Your thumb and finger should cover the rear handle. Press the cut-out(3) with your thumb and press the switch(1) with your index finger. Then pruning shears will work.
Then move the blades into the bush that need clipping. If you have met a large drag, the blades will de-spin and tools will make an abnormal noise. You should stop or slow down the tools. Then check the issue, solve the problem then continue.
Your left hand should put behind the shield(15), so it can get some safeguard. A broken shield should be repaired immediately.
Battery charging
According to the PIC14 aim the battery pack(4)'s beading(29) at the charger(28) groove(30), then put battery pack on. The charger needs to be connected to power.
Red light indicates charger is working, the green light indicates the battery pack is full, then cut the power and put battery pack out.
If red and green have light are on together, a fault may have occurred. If the charger is not working, first, check the power, then check the contacts.

Cleaning & Care
- The tools should be cleaned by compressed air or brush regularly.
- The tools should be cleaned, the chain and fence plate lubricated.
- Ensure the tools are clean before use.
- The battery pack needs disconnected from power before cleaning and stored in a dry environment.
- Do not use liquid to clean the battery or charger.
Electronic device and battery pack can't be discarded with household garbage, should be collected into one place. Other material and parts also need to collect into one place.
