If your phone is not powering on, please check for any signs of life from the unit, including if a charging light turns on (if your phone has a charging/notification light) and if the unit is detected by a computer when connected via USB.
It may be related to the charger rather than the device, and the following article can help confirm the location of the fault:
If the unit has not been in regular use, and has been in storage for a long period of time, it is possible that the battery has depleted naturally. Unfortunately, if the battery is not charged for an extended period of time, it can lose charge completely and become unusable.
Please also carefully inspect the screen for any sign of cracks or damage including beneath the glass, and this can cause the screen not to display anything, and can appear like the unit is not turning on.
Finally, please check the liquid damage indicator on your phone in the event that the phone has been water damaged. The location of this varies from phone to phone, however, it is commonly seen as a small plastic square or circle in the SIM tray slot. This will be white or red.
If this is red, this indicates that the phone has been exposed to water and has been internally damaged.
