Bluetooth Pairing During Initial Setup
In some of the Kogan line of SmarterTVs during initial set up you will be prompted to connect Bluetooth accessories.
This 'Accessories Search' has no time out and will continue to scan for devices until 'SKIP' is selected to end the search and continue to the next screen.
When attempting to pair to a device and the the TV gets stuck attempting to pair, press 'BACK' or 'EXIT' to return to the previous screen.
When prompted to pair the device again skip this step. The device and can be paired later after initial set up through settings.
Bluetooth Un-pairing and Re-pairing
If your Bluetooth device is not working properly, the device can be erased from the TVs memory and reconnected by going to:
'Settings'-> 'Remote & accessories'-> Select the device you want to un-pair -> 'Unpair -> 'OK'
Once the device has been unpaired it can be repaired again by selecting 'Add accessory' in the 'Remote & accessories' menu in settings. Make sure the device you are attempting to connect to is in pairing mode.
Pairing Your Remote to the TV
The remote that came with your Smarter TV can be used to send voice commands to your TV via Google Assistant. Before it can do this it must be paired to the TV in the same way as other Bluetooth devices.
