Safety & Warnings
- Read these instructions in full before use. Retain the manual and, in the case of a change of ownership, pass it on to the next owner.
- Consult your doctor or physiotherapist before using this wheelchair and always operate as advised by your doctor or physiotherapist and as shown in this manual.
- Do not use the wheelchair on stairs or escalators.
- The maximum user weight of this wheelchair is 125 kg.
- This mobility aid is under no circumstances suitable as a toy. Children should not come in the vicinity of the wheelchair without supervision.
- This device is not suitable for visually impaired persons, because the risk of injury in the outdoor is higher.
- Ensure that the wheelchair is fully opened and all wheels are securely assembled.
- If you have to sit on the wheelchair, both brakes must be steadily activated. Never push yourself off with your feet while sitting.
- Do not stand on or put pressure on footrests when entering or exiting the wheelchair.
- Take care using the wheelchair in lower temperatures and on wet surfaces due to the danger of slipping.
- Under no circumstances should this wheelchair be used as a seat in a motor vehicle.
- It is the responsibility and liability of the user to inform sufficiently all other persons who use the wheelchair about possible dangers.
- Do not use the wheelchair unless it has the proper tyre pressure. Do not over inflate the tyres.
- This product contains no user-serviceable parts. If it suffers any failure or damage, cease usage and contact Kogan Support after consulting the Troubleshooting section of this manual.
Cautions on Use
- Always engage the brakes when stopping even for a short while.
- Do not travel at high speeds as the wheelchair cannot stop suddenly.
- Reduce speed when turning corners.
- Before wheeling the chair, please ensure the seated person’s feet are on the footrest.
- Please ensure the brakes are locked when getting on or getting off the wheelchair.
- Do not step on the footrest when getting off the chair - this may cause the wheelchair to tip forward.

- The backrest on this wheelchair is fixed and cannot be folded forward.
- The footrests can be adjusted up and down to accommodate the user.
° To do so, turn the foot plate in an inward direction and then use a spanner to loosen the bolt to the foot plate. The foot plate can then be moved up and down.
Use
- Please perform an initial inspection regarding the quality of the product and all of it’s included parts. Please ensure all parts are securely fastened, connected, and not improperly flexible.
- All turning components of the wheelchair should be able to turn evenly and easily. Adjustable components of the wheelchair should be similarly able to be adjusted.
- The footrests are able to be folded in and out. Once folded up, there should be enough resistance so that they do not fall down again.
- The chair is able to be folded inward, bringing back back wheels together.
° To do so, please fold the footplates upward. Then, grip front and back parts of seat and lift upward. The armrests can be pushed inward to assist in this.
- Please ensure all wheels are on the ground at all times, except when lifting the front two wheels. When any one wheel is lifted, the other three wheels should remain on the ground.
- The minimum turning radius of the wheelchair is ≤0.85m.
- When in use, please ensure inexperienced users are accompanied by persons that are able to assist.
