- Do not overload carrier (20kg maximum: control will be more difficult the heavier it is). Do not carry children, animals, etc. in the carrier.
- Do not immerse in water due to the danger of damaging internal wiring and shorting.
- Handle the battery with care and do not allow it to be damaged, dropped, etc.
- This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. If it suffers any failure or damage, cease usage and contact Kogan Support after consulting the Troubleshooting section of this manual.
Charging
- Keep battery and charger out of reach of children.
- Do not ride when the battery is not charged.
- Use only the provided charger designed for this bicycle.
- Do not disassemble the charger or allow it to be damaged.
- Do not cover charger while charging.
- The charger is intended for indoor use: use only in a dry and ventilated environment.
- Contact Kogan Support if you have any concerns with the charger's safe operation, if it gets excessively hot or produces any unusual odour.
Before Riding
- Check tyre pressure of both wheels. It should be approximately 50 PSI.
- Ensure all components are in good condition before riding: front and rear wheels, handlebars, stem, seat post, saddle, brake system and chain.
Safely Parking
- Ensure the power has been switched off while walking the bicycle, or unintentional turning of the handle can cause accidents.
- While parking, switch off the power, remove the key and lock the bicycle.
- Do not park where the bicycle can be rained on.

Assembly
1. Folding Frame
- Unpack tools and parts: charger, tools, pedals and bell.
- Remove packaging carefully from frame: do not use metal tools or damage to frame may occur.
- Fold frame into extended position. Close the folding lock and safety catch as pictured:
2. Foldable Stem
- Remove packaging carefully from stem: do not use metal tools or damage to frame may occur.
- Fold the stem (left) and close the lock (middle) and safety catch (right) as pictured:
- Use no less than 19.6 Newton metres (Nm) fastening the handlebar screw and stem. Handlebar length should be covered by 2.5 times its diameter (the safety line of the stem should be covered).
3. Pedal & Saddle Assembly
- Fasten the left "L" pedal anticlockwise and the right "R" pedal clockwise.
- Release the lock, adjust saddle to suitable position and fasten as pictured below (the safety line of the seat post must be covered). The seat angle can be adjusted with the adjusting nut if required: note that it is set to a suitable level in the factory.
4. Battery Assembly
Carefully remove battery and install, pushing lightly, as pictured:

Operation
This bicycle utilises a pedal assist function for propulsion.
The speed sensor determines the force sent to the pedals and transmits the signal to the motor to create acceleration. The pedal assist function will operate up to 24km/h.
Note that various factors can affect usage time, such as travel speed, application of brakes, pressure of tyres, weight of loading, battery decline due to cold weather, etc.
Braking
The right handlebar is the forward brake and the left braking handlebar is the rear brake. When braking, the electricity is cut off from the motor.
Note: Brake shoes should keep parallel to the rims and the distance between brake shoe and the rim should be not more than 3mm. The brake shoe should be away from the rim completely when not braking. When a prominent abrasion accrues to the brake shoes, they should be changed to protect the rim.
Battery Assembly & Charging
- Turn key clockwise.
- Turn battery and remove. If it does not extract, pushing slightly can rectify this.
- Charge with provided charger. Do not charge if temperature is over 40°C. Charging takes approximately 2-3 hours in regular conditions at 25°C. The indicator light will be red while charging and green once fully charged.
Cleaning & Care
- Charge once every 2 months if it has not been used.
- Ensure bolts of front and rear wheels are tightened.
- Check for serious wear on cover tire: some cracking is normal.
- Ensure connecting points are normal and braking cable operates smoothly.
- Ensure handlebars and saddle are not loose.
- Ensure driving system works well.
- Adjust the tension of the chain by loosening the nut in the both sides of axle and tightening the chain-adjusting nut until it is suitably tight. Hold the rear wheel parallel to the frame and tighten the nuts on the both sides of axle. If the chain is too tight, do the opposite.
Cleaning
Do not clean with water, in order not to lead to hidden danger caused by the wet internal electronic components and circuit.
Clean the dirt points with the clothes of the neutral detergent and then with the dry.
Clean metal parts with lubricating oil.
Do not inject the oil to front and rear brakes, rim and tire.
