This article provides simple step-by-step instructions showing how to upgrade your TV firmware.
IMPORTANT: Please double-check that your TV product code is 'KALED40QF7000SKA' or 'KALED32QF7000SKA'
Please note: Installing firmware on the wrong model TV will cause issues.
Your product code is located on the back of your TV as pictured:
The product code must read 'KALED40QF7000SKA' or 'KALED32QF7000SKA' exactly.

What you need: a USB memory stick and the firmware file
You will need a USB stick like this:
Please ensure that the memory stick is correctly formatted as 'FAT32' on Windows, or 'MS-DOS (FAT)' on Mac.
Next, you will need to download an upgrade file. Your 'KALED40QF7000SKA' or 'KALED32QF7000SKA' has a firmware update available at the following link:

KALED32QH7000SKA Firmware File (577 MB)
Please right click on the file link and select 'Save link as...' or 'Save target as...'
How to install:
Step 1.
Copy the '.pkg' file directly onto an empty USB stick (32GB or less), ensuring not to place it inside a folder.
Step 2.
Unplug the TV from your power outlet, and leave it for at least 10 seconds.
Step 3.
Insert the USB into the port labelled 'USB1' on your TV.
Step 4.
Plug your TV back into the power outlet, and power on your TV with your remote.
Step 5.
The TV will then load to the Kogan loading screen and will remain there for approximately 10 minutes to complete the update.
Step 6.
After this, your TV will reset to factory default settings, and the startup wizard will appear.
Step 7.
Once your TV has been set up, you can then click on 'Eject USB' and remove the USB memory stick.
If you encounter any issues after the firmware update has been completed, please try performing a factory reset and then attempt to use the TV again.
Please note: This update may remove Stan from the TV, however, you can re-download the app from the Google Play app store. Be sure to check your other apps menu in case it has been moved here.
