We support a large number of payment methods, including Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Amex, zipPay, Afterpay, Google Pay and more!
Most payment issues can be resolved by trying again later, or by contacting your card issuer, financial institution or service provider.
In general, it's best to try an alternative payment option if you're experiencing any issues.
Depending on the payment method you are using, there may be a number of reasons why it cannot currently be used. Please read below for more information.
Make sure you have pop-ups enabled on your device, as you may need to complete a verification with your bank, such as entering a security code or confirming your details.
Online purchases can also be flagged by your bank if they are high value, so if you are not successful in processing your payment it's best to check with your bank to see if they have blocked it.
If you have tried to use a credit card two or more times and have received the following error message:
"Sorry, your payment was not successful. Please check your payment details and try again."
This is because our website uses a complex verification process to prevent unauthorised purchases, and the multiple attempts to place an order may cause your payment details to be flagged in our system.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to process payment for any card that has been previously been flagged, so please try an alternative payment method, such as Paypal or another card.
We recommend using PayPal as the payment method, as their verification systems are separate from ours. You can even use your preferred credit card via Paypal.
Qantas Frequent Flyer Points
If you have had multiple attempts at using Qantas Frequent Flyer points and receive one of the following two errors:
"We're sorry but there was an error processing your Qantas Points payment. Please try another payment method or try again."
"We're sorry but there was an error processing your payment. Please try another payment method or try again."
This usually means the Qantas Frequent Flyer system is temporarily unavailable. We recommend that you try again with a different payment method, or try again in a couple of hours.

Shop with Points (e.g. Citi Rewards Program)

If you are using one of the following participating Rewards Program - Citi Rewards, Card Services Rewards Program and Diners Club Rewards Program, and you are receiving the following error message:
"Sorry, there was an error processing your payment. Please try another payment method or try again."
Then the participating Rewards Program service may currently be unavailable.
We recommend that you try again with a different payment method, or try again at a later time.
If you are still having issues, please contact your Rewards Program provider for assistance.
Problem Still not Solved
Please ensure you do not close or refresh your browser while the payment is being processed, even when the process bar is at 100%.
You will need to wait for our successful transaction notification page to appear before closing your browser.
In the event the issue is still occurring, please try disabling pop-ups temporarily, or clearing your cache before trying again.
