Please confirm that you are using roasted coffee beans, and not pre-ground powder.
Ensure that you have adjusted the following controls to your preference:
1. Adjust coffee powder fineness: Fineness levels from 0 to 10 are imprinted on the Coffee Powder Adjusting Knob, which indicates grinding from the finest to the coarsest.
Note: We suggest using levels between 2 and 4. The finest level can lead to a blocked sieve if not cleaned well, and the coarsest level makes the coffee flavor weaker.
2. Adjust coffee powder volume: This is indicated by white dots on the Coffee Powder Volume knob.
The smallest dot equates to low volume and the largest equates to high volume. The second largest dot is suggested as being the optimum choice.
3. Choose the appropriate volume of water by rotating the Water Outlet Adjusting Knob. The Water volume increases from the left side (minimum 40ml) to the right side (maximum 180ml).
Note: If there is too much water for a small cup while making coffee, stop the flow immediately by rotating the Water Outlet Adjusting Knob anticlockwise by 45 degrees.
