Kogan Twin Tuner HD Digital PVR with 1TB HDD Usage Guide
Scheduling a recording:
- Press the 'EPG' Button on your PVR remote to bring up the Electronic Program Guide as seen below:

Scroll to a channel using the up and down arrow buttons, then use the Left and Right arrow buttons to select the program you wish to record.

Once you've selected the program, press the Green button to enter the timer options screen.

At this screen, you can then adjust the following options:

Repeat: You can choose to schedule the unit to repeat a recording for the same time daily or weekly.

Mode: You can choose to have this schedule automatically record, or set a reminder to watch the selected show.

Channel Name: You can change the channel you would like to schedule the recording for.

Wakeup Date: You can modify the date the the scheduled recording will begin.

Wakeup Time: You can modify the time the recording will begin.

Duration: You can alter the duration the unit will record for.

Select 'Save' to confirm and schedule your recording, or 'Cancel' to leave this window without creating a scheduled recording.
Editing or Cancelling a Scheduled Recording

Press the 'Timer' button on your PVR remote while watching TV (Not while playing back a recording).

A list of all set recordings and schedules will appear. Highlight the item you would like to edit or cancel and press 'OK'.
- From here you can adjust the recording options as you would when creating a scheduled recording. To delete the scheduled item, change the 'Repeat' option to 'Off'.
Please note that this will not affect any programs already recorded to the PVR's storage.
Accessing your recordings:

Press the 'Media' button on the PVR remote.

Once the media menu appears, press the 'Info' button to navigate to the 'Record' category.

You can navigate through the recordings using the Up & Down arrow keys. After highlighting a recording, a preview will begin to play in the window to the right, and you can perform the following actions:

To playback the recording in full screen, press the 'OK' button.

To rename the recording, press the Red button

To lock the recording, preventing it from being modified or deleted, press the Green button.

To delete the recording, press the Yellow button. This will place an 'X' next to the file. You can continue to mark as many files as you would like to delete. To confirm the deletion of the selected recordings, press the 'Exit' button on your remote, a confirmation window will appear, select 'Yes' to continue.
Formatting the HDD
Formatting the Hard Drive is a good way to clear up space on your PVR in order to record more programs.
Please Note: Formatting will erase any and all files currently stored on the Hard Drive including locked files.
You can format the hard drive using the following steps:
Press the 'MENU' button on the PVR remote while watching TV (not while playing back a recording).
Navigate down to 'REC' (the last option) on the left hand side of the menu and press 'OK'.
You will then see 3 options, select 'HDD Information' and press 'OK'.
The following screen will display all connected HDDs (The internal HDD will appear as USB Disk A). Select the HDD you wish to format and press the Yellow Button on your remote to bring up the Format options.
Select your preferred format (FAT for any HDD smaller than 32GB or NTFS for any HDD larger than 32GB) and select OK to proceed.
Following this, your Hard drive will begin the formatting process. Once this is completed, the pop-up box shown below will disappear and you will be free to record.
