Never push objects of any kind into the set through the cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill any liquids onto the set. Use special caution in households where children are present. The television is not suitable for children under 4 years old to operate. | ![]() |
Power supply cords should be routed safely to prevent dangers due to damaged cords. The mains plug is the main disconnect method, so it should be easily accessible and not be obstructed during use. |

Installation
Ventilation should not be impeded or limited by covering the ventilation slots with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains etc. At least 10cm of space should be left around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. | ![]() |
The television should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves or other products that produce heat. Place the television in a position where the screen is not exposed to direct sunlight. It is best to have soft indirect lighting while watching and you should avoid a completely dark viewing environment and reflections to avoid eye fatigue. Keep the product away from high magnetic fields (such as near an amplifier speaker) to avoid affecting the tint. | ![]() |
Do not place the television on an unstable table, stand or shelf. The set may fall, causing serious injury as well as damage to the television itself. If moving the television on a cart, move the unit with care as sudden stops and starts may cause the television to overturn. | ![]() |
Do not place this television near water, for example near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a damp basement etc. | ![]() |
When moving the television to a warm location from a cold location, allow some time for any dew or condensation inside the television to evaporate fully before you turn the unit on. | ![]() |

Quick Start
Your TV is now ready to go through the setup menu. Follow the steps on screen to configure the TV to your preferences.
Overview
The physical buttons on the TV control your TV's basic functions, including the on-screen menu. To use the more advanced features, you must use the remote control.

Antenna Connection
The antenna input impedance of this unit is 75ohm. VHF/UHF 75ohm coaxial cable can be connected to the antenna jack directly.
Channel Tuning
Auto Tuning: Press the OK button to enter sub-menu.
- Tuning Type: Press the up and down buttons to select from DTV+ATV, DTV or ATV.
(Note: ATV broadcasting in Australia has ceased) - Country: Press up and down to select country.
- Search: Press the button to begin auto tuning.
A progress bar will be displayed as the TV scans. Once completed, the channels will be stored and the unit will proceed to the search for DTV channels, Radio and Data.
Press the Menu button to skip.
Manual Tuning: Press the OK button to enter sub-menu.
- Press the left and right buttons to select channels.
- Press the OK button to start channel tuning. When a channel is found, the channel will be saved with the current channel number. Press the Exit button to quit.
Home Page & Input Navigation
Press arrow buttons to selected SOURCES (HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, AV, PC), Media or a smart TV application. Press OK to confirm.
Network Connection
Press the “Menu” to enter Settings, navigate to ”Network” and press “OK" or press the right arrow button to enter.
You can connect your TV to your local area network (LAN) using a wired or wireless connection.
For best results from your smart TV, it is highly recommended using a wired connection.
Wired Network Setup
- Simply connect a Cat 5 Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the back of your TV. This cable can be connected directly to your router or to an extension/hub or another access point.
- Select "Wired" in the network type option and follow the prompts.
Wireless Network Setup (Wi-Fi)
- Select "Wi-Fi" in the network type option
- Select your network, and then press OK.
- Enter your network’s password using the on-screen keyboard.
A Static IP connection can be configured in network setting if needed.
If your TV fails to connect to the internet
Ask your ISP about the procedures required to connect devices other than a PC (such as your TV) to the internet.

Accessing Freeview Plus Programs
Accessing catch-up programs on your Smart TV does not require any apps to be downloaded.
To use Freeview Plus on your TV, simply navigate to the channel on which you wish to view previous programs.
When you select the channel, it will list all Freeview Plus TV options in the top left of your screen with a corresponding coloured button.
Pressing this coloured button, located at the bottom of your remote, will bring up the entire Freeview Plus guide available for this station.
Please refer to the above diagram for your remote for reference to these coloured buttons (point 6).
From here, you can select any program available and it will stream the show to your TV.
Software Update
To update the TV's software, obtain the upgrade file and double-check that it matches the product code of the TV EXACTLTY. Contact Kogan Support if you are at all unsure.
Copy the file to a completely empty USB 2.0 flash drive with 32GB or less storage capacity and insert it into the TV.
Updating Through Menu
This is the easiest and best method to install a software update file.
- Press the Menu button and use up or down button to select Option and then "Upgrade".
- Press right or OK to confirm.
- Press "Yes" to confirm again and the TV will will run the software update from the USB. Do not turn off the power while this is in progress.
The TV will turn off automatically to complete the process.
Updating on Startup
If you cannot install the update as usual due to a software issue, follow these steps:
- Turn the TV off at the power switch.
- Insert USB 2.0 flash drive with latest firmware.
- Turn the TV on at the power switch.
- Hold down the power button on the TV until a blue screen appears with a progress bar and the TV will install the software update. Do not turn off the power while this is in progress.
NOTE: The TV may appear "frozen" on a particular percentage for several minutes. Do not restart the TV unless it is paused for more than 20 minutes.

Factory Reset
To restore the factory default settings:
- Press the Menu button and use up or down button to select Option and then "Restore Factory Default".
- Press right or OK to confirm.
- Press "Yes" to confirm again. The TV will turn off automatically and load the default settings when it next starts up.
