Many broadcasters have started to use MPEG-4 encoding, which may not be compatible with your TV's tuner.
The first broadcaster to do so was Channel 7 in June 2015 with channel 78.
Unfortunately, some of our older TV models are not compatible with some new TV channels, and you may therefore only receive audio and not video.
A number of the channels using MPEG-4 are the HD versions of an existing channel, so in some cases, you can still enjoy these channels in standard definition.
To confirm compatibility, you can try rescanning the DTV channels - if you're still unable to access these channels, it does appear your TV is incompatible.
We do apologise for any disappointment this may have caused.
While all current models are now MPEG-4 compatible, these tuners are a more recent development and were therefore not included in older televisions.
However, all Kogan TVs do have tuners that support MPEG-2, which is the current encoding standard used by almost every other digital station.
