How do I format my PVR?
Please note that this will erase any data currently stored on the device.
- Enter the "REC" menu, select "HDD Information", and press the "OK" button to open the HDD information window.
- Press the YELLOW button to open the Format menu.
- Press the "LEFT" or "RIGHT" cursor button to change the Disk Mode to FAT/FAT32.
- Select "OK" to format.
How do I perform a factory reset on my PVR?
Please note that performing a factory reset on your set top box PVR will delete all content you have recorded.

Go to Menu > Tools > Load Factory Settings and press OK. This will restore the PVR.

Please follow the start up wizard and tune all the channels again.
This will complete the factory reset procedure.
How do I view my recorded content on my PVR?

Press the 'Media' button, located 2 buttons up from the RED button.

Select the program you wish to play back from the list, and press the Play button.
Following this, your recorded content will start playing back.
Can the PVR record subscription television?
The PVR will only record free-to-air digital channels.
It will not record from any other devices connected to the television such as Foxtel, Sky, Austar or a satellite TV box.
How does the TimeShift feature work on my PVR?
TimeShift allows you to pause live TV, and continue watching it when suitable.
In order to utilize the TimeShift function, you must have a USB 2.0 drive attached to your set top box.
You can configure the TimeShift option within the REC & MEDIA section of your Set-Top Box's menu.
Once you have accessed this menu, navigate to the DVR configuration window, where you can see the TimeShift options:

TimeShift - On/Off - This will enable & disable the TimeShift feature.

TimeShift to Record - On/Off - This will determine whether or not the unit records the content during pausing, to be played back at another time if you wish.

Record Type - TS/PS - These are two types of formatting you can chose from when your material is recorded:

TS - Transportation stream which includes information such as teletext, subtitle, EPG etc.

PS - Program stream which will be packeted with the file format of *.mpg and can be played back on other media devices or PC computers.

Record Selection - You can press left or right here to choose which partition you wish to record to on your drive if you have a multi-partitioned drive.

Standby After Record - On/Off - This will determine whether or not the unit puts itself into standby once your scheduled recordings have finished.
Why is my TV or PVR not getting any reception?

Variables such as weather conditions can affect reception, as well as obstructions such as trees, bushes, buildings and even local terrain.

Damaged reception equipment, such as your antenna and cabling, can also degrade the quality of your signal.

Antenna cables can degrade over time: to test your cable please try bending and/or twisting it into a new position.

Electrical equipment such as lights or appliances can also affect reception and it is advised to move these items away from the TV/PVR and wiring.
