Your TV will support the following file extensions and video codecs out of the box. This is consistent with the product's website specifications:
AVI (MPEG-1/2/4, H.264), MP4 (MPEG-1/2/4), MKV and MOV.
AVI, MP4, MKV and MOV are container file types, and can contain a variety of video codecs.
Our TVs support the most common codecs, but it's not possible to support all codecs due to the vast number.
You can check which codecs were used when your files were encoded by playing back the files in a program called VLC on your computer and selecting the 'Media/Codec Information' option under 'Tools' at the top of program.
In the event the files are not of a supported codec type, you can try converting the files to suit the TV using a video converter. A popular free application for this is Handbrake.
You can download VLC Player here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
