Installation:
-
To connect the stand, insert the clips on the stand plate into the indents on the converter and slide the unit down so it is firmly attached.

Position the suction cup against your car windscreen and flip the switch into its downward position to secure the stand to the windscreen.

You can adjust the angle of the stand by loosening the fastening screws and re-positioning the stand.

Receiving and Transmitting Digital Radio:
-
Turn the device on by pressing the power button.
-
Tune your car radio to a frequency where no signal is being received - all you should hear is static.
-
Once you've found an ideal station, press the 'TX' button and use the arrows to adjust the transmission frequency on the converter until it is the same as the frequency your car radio is tuned to.
-
Press the 'Menu/Info' button and use the arrow keys to select your desired radio station. The screen will display the radio station name, along with a message below stating 'Tuning...'
-
By pressing the 'Menu/Info' button multiple times, the unit will also display the radio frequency, data transmission rate, full radio station name, as well as the time and date.
-
Once the converter has tuned the station, the adapter will begin transmitting the radio station to your car's sound system.
To turn the device off, press and hold the power button.
Other Features and Functions:
If your car has an 'AUX In' port, you can create a hard-wired connection between the converter and your car's sound system using an AUX cable.
To do this, tune the desired radio station on the converter and insert one end of the AUX cable into the 'Line Out' port on the converter, and the other into your car's 'AUX In' port, then select AUX as the source for your car's sound system.
You can also use the 'Line Out' port to listen to the radio using headphones.
You can use the 'AUX In' port on the converter to transmit audio from a portable device, via the converter, to your car's sound system.
Insert one end of an AUX cable to your device's headphone port and one end into the converter's 'AUX In' port. Then simply tune your car to the converter's frequency as in steps 2 and 3 above.
We would strongly suggest storing the converter in your car glove compartment when not in use in order to avoid any damage occurring from exposure to the sun for extended periods of time.
